New Thai Mountain Lizard Named After House of the Dragon’s Syrax
Researchers have identified a small, yellowish mountain horned dragon in a high-elevation forest in western Thailand. The newly recognized species, Acanthosaura syrax, was named after the dragon ridden by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon.
